You may seen or heard about earning points when you volunteer, but what does that actually mean?
Marion Music Boosters offers a Volunteer Points Program to help families offset the cost of participating in music activities. Many of our volunteer opportunities earn points. These points can be redeemed for real dollars that go directly toward eligible music expenses.
How Points Work
Volunteer for activities posted on Cuttime that indicate points can be earned
Earn points for your time and service
Redeem points for monetary credit toward music-related expenses
Eligible uses may include:
Major trips (such as the Florida trip)
Show choir fees
Other approved music program fees and activities
Points are earned by students and/or their parents through participation in volunteer activities.
Earn More by Getting Involved
Families who serve on the Boosters Board earn additional points in recognition of their leadership and time commitment.
Board service is a great way to:
Support the music program at a higher level
Stay informed and connected
Earn additional volunteer credit
Why We Have a Points Program
The Volunteer Points Program encourages family involvement while helping make music participation more affordable. The more you help, the more you earn, and the more we can support our students together.
